I hope you are not getting an nVidia SLI motherboard. You can only run one ATI card on an nVidia motherboard.

SLI motherboards only allow nVidia cards to run two in SLI configuration– You CANNOT run two ATI cards in Crossfire on an nVidia SLI board.

To run two ATI cards in Crossfire configuration, you need an ATI Crossfire motherboard.

Needless to say, if you buy an nVidia SLI motherboard only to put an ATI card on it, you would be an idiot who just wasted $200, paying for SLI capability that you cannot use.
