Sounds like you downloaded the wrong drivers. Try letting nvidia.com detect what kind of video card you have.

You need an Nvidia based Graphics device.

1.Find out the Model of the card there should be a model number on the card.
2.Go to the navidia web page and look for a search on the web page and type the numbers you found on your card
3.Download the drivers for your sound card
4.Install the drivers and restart your computer.

NVIDIA is a company that makes graphics and motherboard chipsets. They have driver software that will allow their hardware to work but it’s not specifically video player software. The NVIDIA driver software is not installing because you don’t have any hardware in the computer that the driver supports.
I’m guessing if you can’t watch videos the problem is more likely a codec issue. A codec is software to decode a specific type of movie file.

Im presuming you have a nvidia graphic card? check by right clicking on your desktop – settings – advanced – adapter – if you have a nvidia graphic card installed do the following again and after you click on adapter – properties driver and note down the driver version and also the adapter type and google the adapter type by puttine drivers on the end example. Intel(R) 82845G Graphic controller drivers I would google then get a later version or most upto date version of the drivers. Normally the drivers are stipulated as follows 6.13.1.3245 by numerals. Could also try drivers.com
