Can I upgrade from a NVIDIA GeForce4 MX 420 to a SWEEX Nvidia GeForce 8400 GS 512MB PCI-Express Graphics card?

No, your card is AGP so you need an AGP card like which is far more powerfull than what you wanted.

Dude the Nvidia Geforce MX 420 is not a PCI express interface, though a 8400 is, so you cannot put that into ur computer sorry
The Geforce MX 440 is an APG 8x interface so only cards with a APG interface will work even if it is 4x
I would recommend the Radeon HD 2400 Pro as it is around the price of the price of the 8400 and it is APG 8x
Though to be honest i would not recommend playing that game with that card because you will be playing it on low specs.
Go for like a Radeon HD 3650 which is like £60
Just make sure that you have the recommended power supply wattage though im sorry but im not sure what they are exactly, least a 300w or so
